The awkwardness of being in a class full of seniors and juniors as a freshmen, yes you may say that i sound a little overdramatic.
From the first day of school till now it’s been getting less awkward every day. As a freshmen i feel that some seniors and juniors treat us differently. Sometimes i don't volunteer to answer questions, because i feel that I will answer the question incorrectly. I infer that some of the seniors will criticize me on what i respond to a question or comment.
As of right now i don't really talk to seniors or juniors but when i have the chance it's because of working on a class project or when the teacher tells us to compare and contrast with my table partners. One day when i was working with a group of seniors and another freshmen. The seniors had told us to present the project because we were native speakers, they thought we were better at speaking, at that point it made me feel less unsure of myself. So i know that seniors are pretty cool and chill and that i shouldn't be awkward around them.
